Sky Detective's OM 200 Offender Ankle Device is a GPS/CDMA assisted device that attaches to an offender's, parolee's or probationer's ankle with a rubber strap containing a built-in fiber optic wire that immediately notifies the monitor if the strap is tampered with in any way.
This device, unlike other devices, can locate in heavily obstructed environments, like buildings, tunnels, heavy foliage or between skyscrapers. The other unique and differentiating feature of The Offender is that it is a complete stand-alone device and requires no other equipment to track offenders nationwide. Because the Offender is a complete unit and does not require a base unit, phone line, belt clips or battery packs, the compliance and versatility of the Offender is much greater. It is 100% waterproof and can be sanitized in a household dishwasher.
The tracking application allows for monitoring of every movement, including pre-determined inclusion and exclusion zones through the internet. For example, known gang or narcotics areas can be "zoned" to provide the Monitor immediate notification if the offender has entered or exited these locations.
